Food Pantry
We have our Food Pantry every Tuesday from 1-2pm here at Delta Baptist Church. We serve an average of 150 families in our community every single week. We are in constant need of volunteers who can pick up food from different locations and help pack food on Tuesdays.
Sunday School
Sunday School is held every Sunday before the main service. It starts at 10am, in-person, at Delta Baptist Church. This is one of the ways to be spiritually fed before service and a way to prepare your heart for worship. Sunday school is hosted by Pastor Bernard, and this is the place to personally ask him questions you may have about the Bible.
Baptism
Baptism is when Christians are submerged in water and raised out of it after they have been saved by Jesus. It symbolizes the washing away of sins, the death of the old sinful life, and the beginning of the new life in God’s Holy Spirit. It's important to remember that the Bible calls us to be baptized but only after we've decided that we want to follow Christ wholeheartedly, and to take up a new life in Him.
